حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَحْلَاءَ، عَنْ مُحْصِنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ، ثُمَّ رَاحَ فَوَجَدَ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا، أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ مِثْلَ أَجْرِ مَنْ صَلَّاهَا، أَوْ حَضَرَهَا، لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then goes out and reaches the mosque, but upon arrival finds that the people have already performed the prayer, Allah Almighty will grant him the reward of the congregational prayer, and there will be no decrease in the reward of those who performed it.
