حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَيُّمَا ضَيْفٍ نَزَلَ بِقَوْمٍ،، ، فَأَصْبَحَ الضَّيْفُ مَحْرُومًا، فَلَهُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ بِقَدْرِ قِرَاهُ، وَلَا حَرَجَ عَلَيْهِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever becomes a guest with a people but remains deprived till morning, then to the extent of hospitality, he may take something from anyone and eat it, and there will be no sin upon him.
