حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ، وَفِي الْمَنِيِّ الْغُسْلُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
I was a man who emitted a lot of madhi. I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) [about that] and he said: `Wudoo’ should be done for that and ghusl should be done for mani.`
