حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ: لابْعَثَنَّكَ فِيمَا بَعَثَنِي فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنْ أُسَوِّيَ كُلَّ قَبْرٍ، وَأَنْ أَطْمِسَ كُلَّ صَنَمٍ " (٢)، •
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Jareer bin Hayyan, from his father, that ’Ali (رضي الله عنه) said to his father I shall certainly send you on the same mission as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent me:
level every grave and destroy every idol.
