Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ (٢) الْأَشْقَرُ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ قَابُوسَ بْنِ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ الْجَنْبِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ،، ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: " لَمَّا قَتَلْتُ مَرْحَبًا جِئْتُ بِرَأْسِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)، •
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
When I killed Marhab, I brought his head to the Prophet (ﷺ).
