وقَالَ أَسْوَدُ: بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، قَالَ: وقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يرفُثْ، وَلَا يَفْسُقْ، وَلَا يَجْهَلْ، فَإِنْ جُهِلَ عَلَيْهِ، فَلْيَقُلْ: إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any of you is fasting on a certain day, he should not behave indecently nor act ignorantly. If someone behaves ignorantly towards him, he should say, "I am fasting."
