حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَجْتَمِعُ الْإِيمَانُ وَالْكُفْرُ فِي قَلْبِ امْرِئٍ، وَلَا يَجْتَمِعُ الصِّدْقُ وَالْكَذِبُ جَمِيعًا، وَلَا تَجْتَمِعُ الْخِيَانَةُ وَالْأَمَانَةُ جَمِيعًا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Faith and disbelief cannot be combined in a man's heart; falsehood and truth cannot be gathered in one place; and betrayal and trustworthiness cannot be combined together.
