حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا فَرْقَدٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، أَخِي مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّ أَكْذَبَ - أَوْ إِنَّ (٢) مِنْ أَكْذَبِ - النَّاسِ الصَّبَّاغِينَ، وَالصَّوَّاغِينَ " (٣) ، وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً: مِنْ أَكْذَبِ (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The greatest liars are dyers and tailors.
