English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a goat whose skin had been removed and which was afflicted with mange; its owners had thrown it away. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do you think this has become insignificant in the eyes of its owners?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "Yes." He said, "The world is even more insignificant in the sight of Allah than this goat is in the eyes of its owners."
