حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِسَبْعَةِ أَضُبٍّ عَلَيْهَا تَمْرٌ،، ، وَسَمْنٌ،، فَقَالَ: " كُلُوا فَإِنِّي أَعَافُهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once seven lizards were presented to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), along with dates and ghee. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said to the companions (may Allah be pleased with them), "You people eat it; I refrain from it."
