حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ (١) عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْثَرِ مَا يَلِجُ النَّاسُ النَّارَ، فَقَالَ: " الْأَجْوَفَانِ: الْفَمُ وَالْفَرْجُ "، وَسُئِلَ عَنْ أَكْثَرِ مَا يَلِجُ بِهِ الْجَنَّةَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that someone asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ): "Which thing will cause people to enter Hell in the greatest numbers?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "The two hollow things, that is, the mouth and the private parts." Then it was asked: "Which thing will cause people to enter Paradise in the greatest numbers?" He replied: "Good character."
