حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّمَّاكِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بِصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَبِالْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ، وَبِصَلَاةِ الضُّحَى،، ، فَإِنَّهَا صَلَاةُ الْأَوَّابِينَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that my beloved friend (ﷺ) advised me of three things: (1) to perform Witr prayer before sleeping, (2) to fast three days in every month, (3) to offer the Duha (forenoon) prayer, for it is the prayer of those who turn to Allah.
