حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " يَقُولُ اللهُ (٢) : مَنْ أَذْهَبْتُ حَبِيبَتَيْهِ، فَصَبَرَ وَاحْتَسَبَ، لَمْ أَرْضَ لَهُ بِثَوَابٍ دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated marfu‘an from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah Almighty says: If I take away the light of both beloved eyes of a person and he remains patient over it and hopes for reward, then I am not pleased with any reward for him except Paradise.
