حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَزْدِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: - لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ، قَالَ: وَسَأَلْتُهُ الثَّالِثَةَ، فَقَالَ - قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ، مَا لَمْ يَحْضُرِ الْعَصْرُ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ، مَا لَمْ تَصْفَرَّ الشَّمْسُ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ، مَا لَمْ يَسْقُطْ نُورُ الشَّفَقِ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ، وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ مَا لَمْ تَطْلُعِ الشَّمْسُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The time for Zuhr remains until the time for Asr begins. The time for Asr is until the sun turns yellow. The time for Maghrib is until the twilight disappears. The time for Isha is until the first half of the night. The time for Fajr is from the appearance of dawn until the sun rises."
