حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: فُلَانٌ ابْنِي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا دِعَاوَةَ (١) فِي الْإِسْلَامِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, a man stood up and said, "Such-and-such child is my son." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There is no validity to such a claim in Islam."
