Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَآهُ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ مُعَصْفَرَانِ، فَقَالَ: " هَذِهِ ثِيَابُ الْكُفَّارِ، فَلَا تَلْبَسْهَا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) saw two garments dyed with safflower on his body, he said: "This is the clothing of the disbelievers, do not wear it."
