حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الشَّامِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيَّ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ، وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ (٣) ، وَدَنَا فَاقْتَرَبَ، وَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ (٤) ،، ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا أَجْرُ (١) قِيَامِ سَنَةٍ وَصِيَامِهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs a thorough bath and sets out early for Jumu'ah, sits near the Imam, listens attentively to his words, and remains silent, for every step he takes, he will receive the reward of a year's standing (in prayer) and fasting."
