حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " كَفَى بِالْمَرْءِ إِثْمًا أَنْ يُضِيعَ مَنْ يَقُوتُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is sufficient for a man to be considered sinful that he neglects those whose sustenance is his responsibility (such as weak parents and wife and children)."
