حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ (٢) ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كَفَى لِلْمَرْءِ (٣) مِنَ الْإِثْمِ أَنْ يُضِيعَ (٤) مَنْ يَقُوتُ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is sufficient for a man to be considered sinful that he neglects those whose sustenance he is responsible for (such as weak parents and wife and children)."
