حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ،، ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاحِشًا وَلَا مُتَفَحِّشًا، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: " مِنْ خِيَارِكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا " قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ: " إِنَّ خِيَارَكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was neither indecent by nature nor did he behave indecently deliberately, and he said: "The best among you are those who have the best character."
