Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَتَوَارَثُ أَهْلُ مِلَّتَيْنِ شَتَّى (١) " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "People of two different religions cannot inherit from one another."
