Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الرَّجُلُ الْبِكْرَ، أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When a person marries a virgin woman, he should spend three days with her before assigning the turn."
