قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ قَالَ: قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، نُرِيدُ الْعُمْرَةَ مِنْهَا، فَلَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّا قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ، وَلَمْ نَحُجَّ قَطُّ أَفَنَعْتَمِرُ مِنْهَا؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ (٢) ، وَمَا يَمْنَعُكُمْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ؟ " فَقَدِ اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُمَرَهُ كُلَّهَا قَبْلَ حَجَّتِهِ (٣)، ، وَاعْتَمَرْنَا " (١) (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Ikramah bin Khalid, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once I came to Madinah Munawwarah with some people from Makkah Mukarramah. We wanted to enter into the state of Ihram for Umrah from Madinah Munawwarah. There I met Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both. I said to him: We are some people of Makkah who have come to Madinah Munawwarah, and before this, we have not performed Hajj at all. Can we enter into Ihram for Umrah from Madinah? He replied: "Yes, what is prohibited in this? The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) performed all his Umrahs before Hajj, and we have also performed Umrahs."
