Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: " عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ أَمَرَ بِإِخْرَاجِ الزَّكَاةِ، زَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ، أَنْ تُؤَدَّى قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) commanded that the Sadaqat al-Fitr should be given before going out to the Eid prayer ground.
