Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade this: "That no townsman should sell for a villager." And the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: "Do not meet the traders before they reach the market, and none of you should sell over the sale of his brother, nor should he send a marriage proposal over the proposal of his brother, unless he is granted permission."
