Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: " كُنَّا فِي سَرِيَّةٍ، فَبَلَغَتْ سُهْمَانُنَا أَحَدَ عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا لِكُلِّ رَجُلٍ، ثُمَّ نَفَّلَنَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) sent us on an expedition: "We obtained spoils of war and our share amounted to twelve camels each, and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) gave each of us one camel as a reward."
