حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ: " اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ "، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ " حَتَّى قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا أَوْ أَرْبَعًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said on the day of Hudaybiyyah: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." A man said, "Pray also for those who shorten their hair." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) then, on the third or fourth time, said for those who shorten their hair: "O Allah, forgive those who shorten their hair as well."
