Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شعَيْبٌ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ؟ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزْوَةً قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ فَوَازَيْنَا الْعَدُوَّ وَصَافَفْنَاهُمْ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I participated with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) in a military expedition towards Najd. We encountered the enemy and formed ranks, then the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.
