حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ (١) " وَمَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَمَعَ عُمَرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَمَعَ عُثْمَانَ صَدْرًا مِنْ خِلَافَتِهِ ثُمَّ صَلَّاهَا أَرْبَعًا (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he performed two rak'ahs of 'Isha prayer at Mina with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and also performed two rak'ahs with Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and during the early days of the caliphate of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), he also performed two rak'ahs with him. Later, Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) started performing the prayer in full.
