Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had a ring made of gold. He would turn its stone towards the palm of his hand. People also had rings made, upon which the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) threw it away while on the pulpit and said: "I used to wear this ring and would turn its stone inward. By Allah, I will never wear it again." Consequently, people also threw away their rings.
