Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي الْحِجْرِ: " لَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمِ (١) الْمُعَذَّبِينَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ، فَيُصِيبَكُمْ مِثْلُ (٢) مَا أَصَابَهُمْ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said near the people of Thamud: "Enter upon the punished nations weeping, for I fear that the same punishment that befell them may befall you as well."
