Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَنَّ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَحَمْزَةَ بْنَ (١) عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَاهُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمَا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الشُّؤْمُ فِي الْفَرَسِ، وَالدَّارِ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Omen could be found in three things: in a horse, in a woman, and in a house.
