Translation

English translation

This prophetic saying is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that envy (desire) is not permissible towards anyone except two persons: one is the person whom Allah has granted the wealth of the Qur'an and he remains engaged in its recitation day and night; and the other is the person whom Allah has granted wealth and property and has enabled him to spend it in the path of truth.
