حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَعَدَ يَتَشَهَّدُ، وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ الْيُسْرَى، وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ الْيُمْنَى، وَعَقَدَ ثَلَاثًا وَخَمْسِينَ، وَدَعَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) sat in Tashahhud, he would place his left hand on his left knee and his right hand on his right knee, and he would close the finger that indicates the number 53, and he would supplicate.
