Musnad Ahmad Hadith 6152

Muslim bin Yanaq, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I was sitting with Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, in the gathering of Banu Abdullah when a young man from the Quraysh passed by with his lower garment hanging below his ankles. Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, called him and asked, "Which family do you belong to?" He said, "Banu Bakr." He said, "Do you wish that Allah looks upon you with mercy on the Day of Resurrection?" He said, "Yes." He said, "Raise your lower garment. I have heard Abu al-Qasim (the Prophet), peace and blessings be upon him, say with these two ears of mine: Whoever drags his lower garment on the ground out of pride, Allah will not look upon him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection."
