Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، وَحَمْزَةَ، ابْنَيْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الشُّؤْمُ فِي الدَّارِ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ، وَالْفَرَسِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Omen could be found in three things: in a horse, in a woman, and in a house.
