Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمِ بْنِ الْبَرِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَمَ يَهُودِيًّا وَيَهُودِيَّةً (٢) [قَالَ: عبد الله بن أحمد] : قَالَ أَبِي: " سَمِعْتُ مِنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ ابْنِ الْبَرِيدِ فِي سَنَةِ تِسْعٍ (٣) وَسَبْعِينَ فِي أَوَّلِ سَنَةٍ طَلَبْتُ الْحَدِيثَ مَجْلِسًا ثُمَّ عُدْتُ إِلَيْهِ الْمَجْلِسَ الْآخَرَ، وَقَدْ مَاتَ، وَهِيَ السَّنَةُ الَّتِي مَاتَ فِيهَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ "، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on one occasion, the punishment of stoning was carried out on a Jewish man and woman.
