حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَلَا إِنَّ مَثَلَ آجَالِكُمْ فِي آجَالِ الْأُمَمِ قَبْلَكُمْ، كَمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى مُغَيْرِبَانِ الشَّمْسِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Compared to the lifespans of the previous nations, your lifespans are like the time between Asr and Maghrib.
