حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " أَلَا إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا مَاتَ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ مَقْعَدُهُ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ، إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، فَمِنْ أَهْلِ (١) النَّارِ، حَتَّى يَبْعَثَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: After death, every one of you is shown his place morning and evening; if he is among the people of Paradise, then his place among the people of Paradise is shown to him, and if he is among the people of Hell, then his place among the people of Hell is shown to him, until Allah resurrects him on the Day of Judgment.
