Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ النَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade (the use of) naqir, muzaffat, and dubba.
