حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْحَنَفِيُّ يَمَامِيٌّ، سَمِعْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ تَعَظَّمَ فِي نَفْسِهِ، أَوِ اخْتَالَ فِي مِشْيَتِهِ لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever considers himself great or gives arrogance a place in his walk, he will meet Allah in such a state that Allah will be angry with him.
