Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مِنَ الْحِنْطَةِ خَمْرٌ، وَمِنَ التَّمْرِ خَمْرٌ، وَمِنَ الشَّعِيرِ خَمْرٌ، وَمِنَ الزَّبِيبِ خَمْرٌ، وَمِنَ الْعَسَلِ خَمْرٌ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: There is also wine made from wheat, and wine is made from dates, barley, raisins, and honey.
