[قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ] : وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ: حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ دِينَارٍ، حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْقَزَعِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade "Qaza‘": (Qaza‘ means that when cutting a child's hair, some hair is cut and some is left, as is the fashion nowadays).
