حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ، فَجَعَلَ يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: إِنْ كَانَ كَمَا تَقُولُ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ ثَلَاثِينَ (٣) دَجَّالًا كَذَّابًا " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
Yusuf bin Mehran (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once a man from Kufa was sitting with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He began to speak about Mukhtar al-Thaqafi. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: If what you are saying is true, then I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that before the Day of Judgment, thirty Dajjal and great liars will appear.
