قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: وَجَدْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَهَا رَجُلٌ، وَهُوَ خَارِجٌ مِنْ مَكَّةَ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَمِرَ أَوْ يَحُجَّ فَقَالَ: لَا تَتَزَوَّجْهَا (٣) وَأَنْتَ مُحْرِمٌ " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْهُ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ikrimah bin Khalid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about this issue: If a man wants to marry a woman outside Makkah Mukarramah and he also intends to perform Hajj or Umrah, what is the ruling? He replied: Do not marry in the state of Ihram; the Prophet (ﷺ) has prohibited this.
