حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ وَحُسَيْنٌ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرَاهُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ (٣) قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِذِي الرُّوحِ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُبْ مَثَّلَ اللهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ: " مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِذِي رُوحٍ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever mutilates a living being and does not repent, on the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will do the same to him."
