Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ (٢) نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ " هَاهُنَا الْفِتْنَةُ، هَاهُنَا الْفِتْنَةُ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying that he pointed with his hand towards the east and said twice: "The trial will emerge from here, from where the horn of Satan will emerge."
