Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ (٢) ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُوَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْعِيدَيْنِ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ، وَيَرْجِعُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ أُخْرَى " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to go by one route on the occasion of the two Eids and return by another route.
