Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet (ﷺ) was saying (on the steps of the Ka'bah): "Be aware! The blood money (diyah) for one killed with a stick or staff is one hundred camels. According to some chains of narration, this is a severe diyah, in which there will be forty pregnant she-camels. Be aware! Every pride, every blood, and every claim of the time of ignorance is under my two feet, except the office of giving water to the pilgrims and the custodianship of the key of the Sacred House (Ka'bah); I maintain these offices for their holders."
