حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، نَادَى بِالصَّلَاةِ (٢) فِي لَيْلَةٍ ذَاتِ بَرْدٍ وَرِيحٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: فِي آخِرِ نِدَائِهِ أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ، أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ، أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ، أَوْ ذَاتُ مَطَرٍ، أَوْ ذَاتُ رِيحٍ فِي السَّفَرِ: " أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Nafi’ reports that on one occasion in “Wadi Dhajnan,” Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had the call to prayer given for salah, then made this announcement: “Pray in your tents.” And he narrated this hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ) that the Prophet (ﷺ), while traveling, on cold nights or rainy nights, would have the prayer announced and then make this proclamation: “Pray in your tents.”
